Was a bit apprehensive on booking this tour and even thought about cancelling it a few days before I was due to go after reading a few reviews on how long a day it was gonna be.. but thank God I didn’t! The tour was fantastic, we traveled for 2 hours until we reached Maryland where we stopped for a 20 minute break, enough time to grab a coffee and a smoke then back on the bus for another 2 hours until we reached Virginia and the Arlington cemetery.. we had ample time there for photographs visiting the graves of JFK etc. From there we visited the Lincoln memorial with great photo opportunities of the beautiful Washington Monument, again plenty of time to get lots of pictures as with the White House which we visited next. After the White House we travelled to the Space Museum where we were given a little over an hour to go grab lunch and have a look around the museum then back onto the bus for the short trip to our final destination - the Capitol Building. The tour guide Marco was brilliant - so much knowledge which he impressively rhymed off easily in both English and Spanish and our driver Pedro was great too. We actually got back to New York at 8:15pm approx which was an hour earlier than expected which was great! Im really glad I chose this tour as it has been the highlight of our weeks holiday in New York.. definitely recommend this to anyone.
