This tour stops at Arlington National Cemetery which effective immediately requires the guest to present a valid photo identification upon entry. Visitors 18 years of age and older must present a valid U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification for entry. Visitors 16 and 17 years old who do not have a U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification may present an official school-issued photo identification for entry. Persons who are not U.S. citizens must present a valid passport or U.S. State Department-issued photo identification for entry.

What To Expect

New York City

The Washington DC tour departs New York south passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving at the nation's capital.

Arlington National Cemetery

Start the tour at Arlington National Cemetery and visit the Kennedy family gravesite.

Lincoln Memorial

Visit the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall.

Korean War Veterans Memorial

Visit the Korean War Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Jefferson Memorial

Visit the Jefferson Memorial on the National Mall.

White House

Visit the White House (on most tours). We do not go into the White House. You will see the outside.

U.S. Capitol

Pass by the US Capitol (on most tours), home of the US Senate and House of Representatives. We do not go into the Capitol.

National Mall

Part of the iconic image of Washington, the reflecting pool hosts many of the 24 million visitors a year who visit the National Mall. It is lined by walking paths and shade trees on both sides.

Although quite an early start to the trip, it is definitely worth it. Marcos provided extremely detailed information in both English and Spanish and ensured that everyone knew what time to be back at the bus during breaks. Once we arrived at each stop, Marcos provided extremely informative and interesting information about each landmark, he took turns doing this in both English and Spanish ensuring no one was left out. He was also very happy to answer any questions we may have had. The trip overall was very relaxing and informative. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone!

It's an early start but completely worth it. Marcos gave us regular updates with everything and the number of stops and sights made the day fly in! I was a solo traveller and would recommend the trip to everyone.
