This tour stops at Arlington National Cemetery which effective immediately requires the guest to present a valid photo identification upon entry. Visitors 18 years of age and older must present a valid U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification for entry. Visitors 16 and 17 years old who do not have a U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification may present an official school-issued photo identification for entry. Persons who are not U.S. citizens must present a valid passport or U.S. State Department-issued photo identification for entry.

What To Expect

New York City

The Washington DC tour departs New York south passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving at the nation's capital.

Arlington National Cemetery

Start the tour at Arlington National Cemetery and visit the Kennedy family gravesite.

Lincoln Memorial

Visit the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall.

Korean War Veterans Memorial

Visit the Korean War Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Jefferson Memorial

Visit the Jefferson Memorial on the National Mall.

White House

Visit the White House (on most tours). We do not go into the White House. You will see the outside.

U.S. Capitol

Pass by the US Capitol (on most tours), home of the US Senate and House of Representatives. We do not go into the Capitol.

National Mall

Part of the iconic image of Washington, the reflecting pool hosts many of the 24 million visitors a year who visit the National Mall. It is lined by walking paths and shade trees on both sides.

I divided this trip into 1/3’s. The middle 1/3 is where all the fun is. Marcos anticipates his customers needs. He kept us all together during walkabouts, speaking in English first then Spanish, next site, Spanish first then English. This tour runs very smoothly. Currently, Marcos is travelling slowly down the aisle during our final 2 hours and checking if anyone has any further questions or needs. I’ve been in Tourism for 34 years, I am impressed. Our driver should not go unmentioned, quiet but confident with a warm smile. I’m embarrassed to say I have forgotten his name.

We took this tour yesterday (7/28/19) and it worth the money. Everything was as it was offered. Great job of our driver, really funny and well informed. The tour was both in English and Spanish.

This is one of the best options to take if the traveler has limited time and want to cover Washington D.C. Please make sure to ask for Tour Guide Marcos to accompany you during the trip. He was excellent and best guide who can be extremely informative and very mindful about time limitation. He was very friendly and accomodative as well. You will not regret taking this option to visit Washington D.C in one day.
