Not the best way to take photographs but certainly the best way to decide where to return in order to do so!
We're very glad we used the Old Town Trolley during our one-day visit to DC on 4 Aug 2014. We had very friendly, patient and knowledgeable drivers, especially Big Joe. We started our sight-seeing early, and Old Town Trolley was very key to accomplishing our goal to see as much as possible. We NEVER could have walked to the memorials, Arlington Cemetery, the White House, the Capitol. Old Town Trolley helped us cover a lot of territory and we saw so much. We paid $39 per adult -- a very good deal. A few times we waited but couldn't get on a trolley because no seats were available.
I think I wrote you once. Your service was not good. The actual tour was very enjoyable. This is what was bad.-- Our hostess asked if the stop in Georgetown was at the Old Stone house, so she could drop us off there to begin the tour. We were told, yes. The stop is about two blocks away from there, and not one told us that, nor did the onlne information of the tour company explain that. We waited about one half hour before a natl.. parks service employee told us that he thought it was down near Wisconsin st. near some ice-cream place. Eventually we found it. You are in San Franc. I see, and were not able to give us these important details that a tourist had to know before taking the bus. for that reason, I give it a poor rating
On the positive side, we really enjoyed our guide, and the route covered everything.
