Many of the attractions in Washington DC are equipped with metal detectors at the entrances. Traveling without bags or purses is recommended
Due to time restrictions, you cannot go inside any of the monuments, however you can spend about 15-20 minutes at each stop to enjoy up-close views

Awesome trip. Christopher was our guide & we could not have asked for anyone better. Great experience from start to finish. Team did a great job of getting us to the tour & getting us on the bus. We had more than enough time to see everything and, again, Christopher was amazing. Best activity we’ve done to date since we’ve been here.

Calvin and Alicia were great as driver and guide on this trip and very humorous. Plenty of photo opportunities and time at the monuments. Disappointing that the Capital building was covered in scaffolding so we could not get the iconic photo shot. We took the usual photo of standing in front of the building and facing towards the obelisk. Did not realise at the time that we would then have the opportunity of visiting the site at the other end and in the middle and being to look then at the Capital building. Plenty of restroom stops en route and time to get lunch before taking the boat trip on the Potomac. As visitors from the UK it was good to see all the sites of Washington that we see so often on the TV.
