This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee this and at times, groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.
This tour runs year-round and will proceed rain or shine unless such weather constitutes a dangerous situation. The final decision on cancelling a tour will occur at least 1 hour prior to departure and all possible guests will be contacted.
Carts accommodate most types of infant seats and we encourage parents to bring their own. We can provide an infant seat, as long as a guest calls us at least 48 hours before the tour and informs us of the age and weight of the infant.
Wheelchairs can be accommodated, but we need to know in advance.
The itinerary and its order of stops are subject to change at any time. Monuments visited may change due to local road or monument closure which are beyond our control. Most travelers can participate

What To Expect

Tidal Basin

Move through the major monument areas, marveling at the dramatic effect of the floodlights on the stately architecture. Admire the Jefferson Memorial and Martin Luther King Memorial, bathed in indirect light from the Tidal Basin.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

Take in the FDR Memorial with its cascading waterfalls and sculptures depicting President Roosevelt’s four terms.

Washington Monument

See the illuminated Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. Then visit the WWI and WWII Memorials, the Korean War Veterans Memorial

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

And, finally, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

White House

Continue past Washington DC’s most famous address: the White House. Keep your camera ready to test out your night photography skills as you stop at the sites.

Capitol Hill

Continue on towards Capitol Hill to be astounded by the Capitol Building. End your tour on a high note by asking your guide for some recommendations for the rest of your stay in the city. Your eco-friendly, open-air electric cart allows you to enjoy fresh air and great views as you tour the city. Your guide also points out festivals, exhibits, demonstrations or special events that may be occurring in this lively city. After a 2-hour tour, you'll return to the Smithsonian complex where your tour ends.

Our tour guide Mike was wonderful. Knowledgeable and witty. The ecart was comfy and the small group of 6 ppl made for a nice, easy two hr experience. The tour itself was wonderful, covering almost all of the monuments and some federal buildings. It would have been nice to visit the Jefferson Memorial rather than just driving past it, but we did have the opportunity to spend some time at the Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial and got some great pics of the memorials at night which were just beautiful. I highly recommend this tour as you get to experience almost all of the memorials and tour the city is a relaxed, comfy setting, no worries of navigating the city, getting lost or dealing with traffic. Only regret is that we wished we had booked another tour to explore more of the monuments and get a history lesson at the same time.

Knowledgeable guide and great overview of the sights of DC. It was great to have a smaller group and get close ups of everything. Monuments at night are amazing! Would recommend to anyone.

Not sure about the tour itself but wIll never book through Viator again. When arrived at the meeting point they did not have our reservation and the tour was full. Even though I had the reservation confirmation from Viator we had to rebook for another night. The guide said this happens all the time. Cost us an additional 20 for transportation.
