Next, you'll arrive at the memorial to civil rights icon Martin Luther King, Jr. Here, you'll get a quick refresher on King himself and learn how one of his speeches inspired the design of this monument

National Mall

Next you'll arrive at the National Mall a picturesque stretch of greenway which is also home to many of Washington's most iconic sights

Washington Monument

This is great if you’re doing solo traveling and just wanna spend a day walking around the city. I loved the experience and I’d highly recommend.

I really like the concept of the tour. They give you a prepared trip and give you some information about what you see. You can walk as fast as you want, take pictures as long as you want and take another route if you want. I really like that and recommend it for everyone, especially since the highlights can all be easily reached by foot and it is doable in one day. For me it could have more information but I will definitely do more of those tours.
