Visitor cancelled cruise several weeks ago. Offered alternative. Asked for refund. They said would refund cruise fees in full. Hopefully that happened, because did not

Excellent! I would do it again! The food was very good and the entertainment very nice. The ship was also very elegant.

Pros: The staff and servers were good-friendly, but not very attentive. The food was better than expected and plenty of it. Buffet line moved well. The fireworks, which is what we mainly came for, were excellent. The condition of the ship overall was OK. Cons: The bathrooms-UGH-they could use some updating and the sewer smell was terrible. They were literally located right below the buffet. Smoking allowed on board. Outside areas only, but if you wanted to watch the fireworks, which you just paid $200 plus for, you had to be outside with the smokers. Maybe if there was a designated smoking area, everyone would not have to be exposed to second hand smoke and cancer. There was not commentary on the way up the Potomac-this would have been nice as I'm sure lots on board were tourist. I'm glad to have seen the fireworks. This is a been there, done that experience for us. I would not go on another cruise with this company.
