Parking arrangements were not good, waiting period was hot and boring, service good, food good, might have been better if someone explained what I was looking at

Typical ~$120 Washington, DC 3 hour dinner cruise on the Potomac River but with some easily correctable problems. (your judgement on if we are just complaining or have legitimate concerns) Times: 6:15 PM boarding 7:05 PM departure, 9:55 PM return. Path: South then around north around East Potomac Park island then south again down to 495 Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge and then back to the pier. Pros: our servers Tae and Mark were attentive, professional and very kind. Seafood tower was worth the extra $49 cost. Wine by the bottle reasonably priced. Last hour of music was much better than the first 2 hours. Crab cake dinner was reasonably good. Cons: Really really hot inside, (AC problems?) and management seemed unable to do anything about it... final passed out fans to guests (outside temp only mid 80s). Skip the duck appetizer. Some slippery substance on restroom floor (not just water). Overall, I wish management was more responsive to customer concerns.

We sailed on an Odyssey Dinner cruise a couple of years ago and had a wonderful time. Great service, good drinks and food, interesting tour. How things have changed! This time we had friends from Canada visiting and opted for another cruise. What a disappointment!! We boarded the boat at 6:15 pm and were shown to our table. We wanted to order drinks, but the wait staff said they wanted to take our food order and that they would send over someone to take our order. Ten minutes passed. We asked a passing staff member for help. Another ten minutes passed. A staff member came to our table but said she was a server' not a waiter and she would get us a waiter. Another ten minutes. Finally, each couple ordered a bottle of wine. Ten more minutes and we could see two bottles of wine on the bar. Asked and were told that they were looking for someone to open the bottles. Ten more minutes and--almost an hour later--we had a glasses of mediocre and overpriced wine. Terrible service!! The tour was also a total disappointment. We departed the dock and headed north. No commentary on the passing sights. Eventually, an announcement from the Captain that due to high water they could not get under the bridges (disppointing but accepted). Headed south--sullen but not mutinous. Still no commentary as we passed National Airport, the Alexandria waterfront, National Harbor, etc.. Could not see out the window because of the 70 style disco lights. Couldn't talk because of the overly loud band. Food was okay (not worth the price) Sad experience and clearly not worth the $175 per person. Complained and were told we would be getting a voucher . Rather have a refund. Won't go back.
