Experience nature up close and personal, and rappel 120 ft down Kulaniapia Falls. You will be equipped with top of the line equipment, and provided with ample instruction to ensure your descent down the falls will be safe, fun and exhilarating.

Kulaniapia Adventures tours depart form The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls, and must be booked in advance. Parking available on site for registered guests only. NO ACCESS TO PROPERTY WITHOUT BOOKING. Guests accompanying rappelling customers in the same vehicle may purchase a guest pass to Kulaniapia Falls when they arrive onsite for $49+tax.

I was so disappointed my Repel was canceled. I had booked this adventure 4 months in advance. And it was the only activity I booked this trip . We scheduled our other plans around this excursion and even ended up staying in Hilo and extra night in hopes they would reschedule me. I was at the pick-up point waiting when I got the news it was canceled last minute. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! It would have been a perfect day to do it ! So unfortunate, but I don't feel like it was handled very professionally.... And for the price, I expected more. We did end up kayaking the falls ....which I would highly recommend.

Aloha, we are sorry we were not able to operate for you as an individual guest. When booking, we are clear that we have a minimum number of guests to operate, and that if you are not able to move to another tour, we may have to cancel your reservation with a full refund. In this case, we first contacted you the day before, advising you that you were still the only guest booked for your tour, and asked whether anyone else in your group may be interested in joining. You advised that your friend was not interested in joining. We then let you know what additional times were availalbe, and if none of those worked for you, gave you the opportunity to purchase a second spot, which would have given you a private experience for the price of two guests. You declined all of these options. We understand this experience was frustrating, but it is not accurate to say that it was a last minute cancellation. We contacted you over 24 hours in advance and did our best to provide other options. All of that said, we are sorry this didn't work out for you, and are glad to hear you enjoyed the daypass we offered you free of charge, and kayaking below the falls.
