Ride in a clear kayak- which has the advantage of greater visibility of the underwater world. Get Up and Glow with us on a sunset and glow tour in the estuary of the Weeki Wachee River in our 100% clear kayaks! We slide LED lights into the bottom of the kayak so we can light up the night after the sun sinks! This is a great trip for those looking to enjoy the tranquility of an evening paddle +watch sunset in a 100% clear kayak at one of the best times on the river! Often we have the Weeki Wachee all to ourselves which is unheard on Florida's most iconic + popular springs! A great adventure for beginners but we do paddle upstream for the first half of the tour, which is a great workout and worth the drift paddle back to the launch site. Your guide will stop for pics along the away! We stay in our kayaks for the duration of the tour.

Individual cannot exceed 250lbs per manufactures restrictions and the combined weight of 2 paddlers cannot exceed 425lbs
Children under 3 years old are not permitted due to safety reasons
We require a ratio of one adult to one child (3- 17) to participate in this tour

What To Expect

Weeki Wachee

Get Up and Glow with us! Take a NIGHTTIME clear kayak adventure and light up the night with LED lights in your clear kayak! Your tour guide will lead the way as we kayak through the quiet estuary of the Weeki Wachee and Mud Rivers. What creatures of the night will we encounter gazing at the stars while we light up the water beneath us? This tour takes place after dark and there may be some surprise visits from wildlife. We recommend wearing long sleeve and/or long pants, with bug spray underneath your clothing to deter bugs.

Our experience was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. I cannot thank the team at Get up and Go Kayak Tours enough. My family is on a last minute vacation. I had been looking for tours online but all were booked. While at Weeki Wachee State Park I saw this location had tix available that night 2 hours away. I wanted to make sure the location so I called. I was blown away by customer service like I never have encountered before. Taylor was hearing the park background noises, she asked if a closer location would be preferred, asking where we were and so on. She went over and above, I’m so grateful. Vinny came in special and gave us an amazing tour of the area. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He went over and above. It was peaceful- we ever got to see a manatee! The people along the river were so nice! I highly recommend this experience! I would book with this company again and again!!!

It is a memorable 2 hours for me. The natural scenery here is gorgeous. Our tour guide Gary is a great person, he really brings classroom outside. We learned a lot of knowledge about local environment, and also learned how to kayak as 100% rookie.
