What To Expect

Johnson Square

We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

This is the 3rd time i have been to Savannah and everytime i come i end up taking a tour. This is the first time i have taken Savannah Belle Walking Tours and i have to say it is the BEST tour i have ever taken in ANY city that i have visited .. Michelle Frenor is so informative and so passionate about her city. I feel that she is the REAL thing and not some pre-recorded information (like the other 2 tours i have taken in Savannah) She is a wealth of knowledge. I highly reccomend anyone who is visiting Savannah to take this tour..

What a great way to see Savannah, and what a wonderful tour guide. We looked at some of the other tours while we were in Savannah. We are semi-local, but were in town for the weekend and wanted to see the historic parts of town and get the "full tour", and we did just that. Michelle is very knowledgeable about ALL of homes and other building in the area. She knows the facts and I a great presenter of the information. We looked at other tours that were 3 times the price, but I honestly can't imagine them being any better than Southern Belle tours. The best $15 we spent all weekend, I highly recommend!

If you are going to visit Savannah, I highly recommend taking this entertaining and informative historic tour! Michelle Freenor is a wealth of knowledgeable. She is an accomplished history major and is as equally passionate about the City of Savannah as she is about preserving the integrity of its' history. In addition, Michelle is personable, super friendly, sweet and professional. It was an absolute pleasure to spend an afternoon with Michelle learning about the history of Savannah!
