Maui helicopter rides take you flying in a luxury A-star helicopter, the Cadillac of all helicopters, for this 60-minute flight. Each helicopter has 6 forward-facing seats, stereo CD music and 180-degree, unobstructed views for everyone onboard. Each passenger receives a two-way headset for ongoing communication and pilot narration.

Halawa Valley

View the resorts of Kaanapali and Kapalua. Soar above Hawaii's tallest waterfalls (including the 1,750-foot Kahiwa Falls) along Molokai's remote and isolated north shore. Fly above gigantic sea cliffs, the tallest in the world! Discover Halawa Valley with two large and beautiful waterfalls flowing down the mountains.

We choose Air Maui a day before we flew. We did a price match for Costco price around 200 per person. I think if you research, you might end up paying less around $150. We choose the west Maui and Molokai tour. Due to some reason I do not remember our 45 min tour was made to 60 min tour. We choose the back seats in the helicopter as front seats you will have to pay more. However back seats also do give you a good view of the island. They will recommend to wear dark clothing to avoid reflection in the windows. At the air Maui center you go through a safety video tutorial and may be a waiver form to be signed. When our turn came, we were seated as per the seats assigned and given a pair of headphones which is used to listen what pilot is narrating and you can ask a question to the pilot. Pilot played his playlist throughout the tour which matched with the background to get a surreal feeling as we are in some place out of the world eg Playing Time from the movie inception when watching the waterfall in west Maui mountains. The tour covered the west Maui mountains, we went quite deep inside to see the waterfalls, cliffs of Molokai, rugged blueish beaches which are not good to dock the boats, coral reefs etc. Me and wife are very pleased we took the helicopter tour to see the magical place Hawaii-Maui offers from aerial view. I would recommend anyone to do a helicopter tour, it’s an out of the world experience. I would recommend Air Maui highly.

Captain Kirk is awesome. A reflection of everyone at Air Maui. A great experience from beginning to end. Captain Kirk is a great pilot with an easy going commentary, funny interaction with his passengers and insightful stories on the history of the places we flew over. Can't wait for our next adventure with Air Maui Helicopter Tours.

Jessie was a great tour guide and pilot. He was very informative and went out of his way to make everyone feel at ease. The staff is friendly and great to work with. The views of Maui and Molokai are incredible. Jessie did an awesome job to make sure we had great views. Come early and make sure to wear dark clothes to prevent reflection off the glass (great tip from the staff). Bring your camera to capture some incredible shoots. I highly recommend buying a video of this amazing adventure.. Can't wait to do it again.
