Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.

The day started out rainy which made the trail a little slippery for the horses but they performed well. We were each matched to a horse according to our ability and comfort zone. The guides could not have been more friendly, accommodating, or knowledgeable. The scenery and views were magnificent. The ride was well worth the time and money.

Easy to find and great service. Horses were well cared for and ranch was fun! Couldnt ask for a beeter ride. Scenery was fantastic! Cant wait to go back.

I'm so happy we went on this adventure. My husband and I haven't ridden since we were younger, but we were both paired with horses that matched us well. His was well tempered but a bit stubborn and mine did as I asked but with some attitude. Our son had never ridden a trail before and his horse was super gentle and sweet. He stayed with a guide the entire trip. These horses are very well cared for, and it shows in that their great individual personalities are allowed to shine through. Each horse does no more than one ride a day and and they all get days off. If you want a fun, humane, beautiful ride with great knowledgeable guides and a chance to run with your horse at the end, I highly recommend this tour.
