Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

My wife and I had a fantastic time. My horse was Gold, a restless, stubborn horse. Her stallion was called Tonto, and he happened to be the alpha of the group. It makes sense in hindsight, because he did whatever he wanted to do. Gold and I got along fairly well, as I volunteered to ride him because I wanted the opportunity to gallop. Despite my limited experience, I had no qualms about being firm and resolute, and for the most part he respected that. Then there were moments where he would be unresponsive while side eyeing me, so that was fun. It was a thrilling experience. The guides were excellent, and Kristin was extraordinarily patient and fun to be around. We'll be back.

This was an overall excellent experience. The ride was amazing! very sweet horses and the riders were very helpful and put safety first. The horses are also very well trained and seem well taken care of. This was a great experience and highly recommended. Chad, Derek and Kristin were awesome!!

Such a great team/staff that own & operate this tour. The guides are friendly & easy to talk to, the horses are easy to ride, and the view points are AMAZING! No matter what your experience level is, they will be able to accommodate. I highly recommend this experience/adventure!
