Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

‘The Best Day Ever” according to 7 year old, Cody. He, Caleb (9) and I (65!) loved our ride with Fred and Nick. Fred noticed that Cody was nervous and took extra care to get him comfortable with riding our first trail. The horses were well-loved and matched to our riding experience and the trail itself was beautiful. Nick and Fred were attentive and fun and shared a lot about themselves and this beautiful island. The entire team was welcoming and so friendly. Thank you all, so much, for the beautiful memories created!

I can’t thank this company enough for the attention Fred showed my son who was incredibly nervous about this excursion. This horseback ride was my son’s favorite part of a very busy trip. To quote him the rating for the horseback ride, and more importantly Fred was a “10-10-10-10”. I can’t thank you all enough. My wife enjoyed it very much too, I highly recommend this to all families.
