Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

We had a great time, this was much of my families first time riding and the horses and staff were great. We all were paired up with a horse to match our abilities and it worked perfectly. They even let us gallop at a point which was very fun for everyone in my group. I highly recommend bringing sunscreen.

This was the best time we could have had here in Maui! It was exciting and informative and the way they take care of their animals is truly amazing. Anyone that takes such good care of animals are good people in my book.

My daughter and I did the horseback tour for her 18th birthday. The guides were great and really took the time to get to know the riders and make sure everyone was comfortable with their horse. Even those who were nervous and never rode before or had some nerves were all calm after a very short time. They will ask at the beginning if you have experience and want to ride a horse who will run a little towards the end of the ride. There is a short section where those specific horses will take off fast but only if you want to and the guides made sure to double check and give some safety tips again before allowing the horses to run.
