Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.

Such wonderful people! Everyone was very helpful and informative. The guides were super attentive and allowed us to have fun while ensuring the safety of ALL riders. As a former trail guide myself, this was such a breathe of fresh air! They made sure everyone got the photos they wanted and took plenty of time at each viewing spot. And when they say you get to run the horses? You actually get to gallop! Not just canter or trot. It's not on the beach and it's a short distance, but it's a legitimate RUN depending on your horse's level of motivation! My 14 year old son and I had an unforgettable time and we both can't wait to get back there to visit again! ❤️❤️❤️🐎🐎🐎🌺🏝

We had such a great time. The staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable. They did a great job pairing people up with horses. Our guides were wonderful as well and a lot of fun. They have so many animals that are fun to watch while everything gets set up. A word of warning to make sure your rental car has some clearance or just drive very slowly up their driveway. We had a Camaro and took it very slow and did just fine. We will definitely return.

Our family loved the horseback ride. Our boys (10),(9) each rode their own horse and loved every minute. The staff did an excellent job pairing the rider's experience and personality to the horse. Our guide, Nick, was fantastic! He did a great job explaining the property, history, landscape, vegetation, culture and was really personable. He rode next to our boys regularly and made sure they were comfortable and having fun. The property is gorgeous. The views at both the top of the property and the ocean are spectacular. They really do a nice job and the staff and animals are first class. Highly recommend this for a family trip!
