Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

First time riding a horse fir my kids and the guides were excellent. Helped all of us make adjustments along the way. The views were amazing along the ride and they made sure to stop and take pictures with our phones as we went.

This whole experience was amazing! We chose it because it offered better value than others (longer ride for less money) and reviews were good. The good reviews proved correct and this has been one of my best memories of Maui. The horses were awesome, as were the outstanding guides. Guides gave great advice and were carefully watching riders to ensure safety for all and when offering advice, did so kindly, rather than being condescending. We loved that we got to run horses at one point (that’s another reason we chose this ride), yet given a choice so that those beginners uncomfortable doing so didn’t feel pressured. Views throughout the ride were breathtaking.

What a great trip. The trail guides Nick and Cassidy were super friendly, and knowledgeable. They made us feel 100% comfortable as novice riders. I would recommend this tour to anyone that visits.
