Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

We saw some of the best views on Maui. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would just warn folks that this is a 2 1/2 hour tour. It's a bit long for beginners or those of us that haven't ridden in years.

What a wonderful place to go horseback riding!!! The mountain ride was so much fun and in beautiful much scenic areas .. all the way to the top! Though it was drizzling and misty at the top and couldn’t see the waterfalls , we felt it added to the beauty and mystique! The sun came out on our way down to the cliffs by the sea .. what a beautiful experience it was! The guides were fantastic and stayed with those of us who were not experts ..and at the end we were even able to gallop! Highly recommend this to to all !

The guides were awesome. The horses were well cared for. I would have liked if they could somehow separate riders maybe experienced riders in the morning and no experience in the afternoon. The inexperienced riders made the ride very slow!
