Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

This is a must do for anyone visiting Maui. It was an absolutely incredible experience that we will have memories of forever. Both the guides and the staff were so welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Our two kids ages 11 and 9 have not stopped talking about how much fun it was and that they want to do it again in the future. I would rate this a perfect 10!

Everyone was really friendly and helpful. It was awesome to see all the animals on the farm, we got to pet the cats and sheep. We also got a chance to run on the horses which was really fun. The views were spectacular!

The trail ride was lovely. There were some breathtaking views and I was happy with the amount of time we spent riding - not painfully long and not too short either. The staff was friendly and helpful and the horses appeared well taken care of. We were particularly impressed that the horses appeared to actually be well trained and responsive, not just the type of horse whose spirit is so crushed that it does this one trail and this one trail only. As a regular rider I have been disappointed before being put on a horse that only goes when the lead horse goes, and doesn't care what you tell it. That actually turned into a safety issue (with another group, not related to this one!) when I wanted my horse to stop and it wouldn't. So again, I'm pleased to say that these horses were well trained in addition to being well cared for.
