Ryan was very knowledgeable about the local marine life. He knew where certain turtles were hanging out and the local monk seal trying to nap on the beach. Saw plenty of whales playing and slapping their fins.

After many trips to Maui I really didn’t think there was anything new to see and experience until yesterdays kayak trip with our guide Timothy! We kayaked out to watch whales breaching repeatedly and then stopped to watch a pod of humpback whales quite a long distance away. The whale pod disappeared and the next thing we realized was that they were directly underneath our kayaks and were just hanging out under our boats! Unbelievable to be able to look over the side of the kayak to see the humpbacks and then watch them surface around our kayaks as we remained motionless. Truly an experience of a lifetime. Of course, there were also the many giant turtles and two monk seals that we saw swimming as we kayaked back. Timothy was super informative, flexible, and friendly and gave us a day we’ll never forget!
