What To Expect

West Side Market

The tour meets at Market Square Park across the street from the main entrance of the market at the NW corner of W. 25 and Lorain Avenue. Note for GPS users, the Market is located at 1979 West 25th St, Cleveland (44113). Please look for your guide who will be wearing a Taste Cleveland Food Tours name tag.

Our guide told us about the history of the area, the building, and the Westside Market. She took us into the building, introduced us to a number of vendors, informed about the food they sell, and gave us samples to taste.

We enjoyed our tour led by Carol. She shared a lot of history and her knowledge and passion for food. There were a lot of samples from many of the local markets vendors. Come with an appetite and willingness to try all the treats that this market has to offer.

I can’t imagine being charged to walk through the West Side Market. Take the advice of a lifetime Cleveland resident. Skip the unnecessary tour guide.
