I have been on the Cape May Whale Watcher over 20 times with my family and Captain Stuart and crew are always consummate professionals. Friendly, informative, and have ALWAYS seen a bunch of dolphins. November best for whale spotting. The 6:30pm sunset whale watching cruise in summer is a must. I always feel like I am on vacation, even though we own a family seasonal business and work 6 days a week. The sunsets from the boat, the wonderful crew, Captain Stuart and his family's genuine hospitality, all make this a "must do", especially in summer. The boat is always in tip top shape, the bathrooms clean, the pizza and hot dogs great for the kids, and the cash bar for the adults lends to a great time for the whole family. My mom is disabled, and they take special care to make her comfortable and happy. They also provide an excellent history lesson on Cape May as you travel and whale and dolphin watch along the coast. I have heard it 20x and never get tired of it. Great value for the money!!

It was a pleasant trip. We saw lots of dolphins, but no whales (went for 3 hr dolphin and whale watching). Boat was nice, helpful crew, nice snack bar. Had a fun time with family. Caption was knowledgeable about sea and sea life. Will definitely recommend.

I bought a groupon for the 3 hour Dolphin and Whale watching cruise for me and my 7 year old daughter. Pros: - Easy Parking - Guaranteed sightings. The captain was very good at finding dolphins, pointing them out and turning the boat for all to see. - There are restrooms and a snack bar on the cruise. Cons - We were told to arrive between 12-12:30 for a 1pm cruise time. That was a lot of waiting for a kid (I was quite bored too) - For the whale watching part of the trip - we were in search of a single whale who was spotted in the area in the past few days. If I would have known it was unlikely to see a whale, we would have taken the shorter trip to see the dolphins. - Once you are on your way back, the snack bar area was packed and we couldn't get a seat. Overall: I would recommend going - however, for the shorter dolphin only cruise. And only with a groupon.
