We booked the sunset cruise, and what a wonderful experience. We sighted at least 75 dolphins. Not to mention the Captain was very knowledgeable about the marine life and history of Cape May, and was happy to impart this knowledge to his passengers. Very romantic for couples (like us). They also served complimentary hot dogs and pizza, which was a hit with the families on board our trip. Great experience; hope to book another cruise next time we're down that way.

We've been coming back to the Whale Watcher every year for the past 16 years. The Captain puts on a great tour. He guarantees multiple dolphin and wildlife sightings and we've not been disappointed yet. The Spirit of Cape May (the boat/vessel) was custom designed for the job. It's kept in beautiful, fast, and spotless condition. It's got an air conditioned, glassed in interior, and also lots of deck and fo'c's'le space (okay, space at the front of the boat) for close up viewing. The dolphins happily come up within 20 feet or so from the boat. The captain mixes marine biology, environmental science and local history into a great two hour talk. It's a great trip. He also offers a day-long tour of the offshore lighthouses of the Delaware bay, that we're looking forward to in September!

This company has the largest boat in the area for whale/dolphin watching. The crew were pleasant and the captain very informative. Saw lots of dolphins. Personally, I prefer the smaller vessel of another local company for a more intimate experience but this was wonderful. Very good sound quality, even upstairs at the back of the boat, I could hear clearly. The twilight tour was cool and pleasant. Recommended for all but very young children who seemed bored or were crying incessantly on the trip I was on!
