The Delaware Bay Estuary is a sanctuary for many species of marine life, including Humpback whales, Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins, Manta rays, Thresher sharks, Hammerhead sharks, Harbor porpoise, Harbor seals, Northern gannets, Greater shearwaters, Bald Eagles, laughing gulls and a plethora of fish species. This cruise allows for an awesome offshore experience for the family, as well as seasoned adventurers and seafarers alike, and is fully narrated by your captain, who will point out local history along with many types of marine life.
The vessels in the Cape May Whale Watcher fleet, include the 110 foot long Cape May Whale Watcher and the 125 foot long Atlantis. They are the largest of their kind, offering air conditioning and heat, restrooms, upper deck seating and full bars with snacks and libations. They offer max comfort!

We recently took our grandchildren on their first boat ride and dolphin watch with Cape May Whale Watcher and it was a wonderful experience. The boat was comfortable,the Captain was very informative and we saw literally hundreds of dolphins. Everyone was so pleasant...we can't wait to do it again next summer and try the three hour whale watch!

The boat is large, stable, comfortable, and even air conditioned. It was the best we ever experienced at Cape May. The tour guide and the crew were great, too. The reservation staffer we called was kind enough to refer us to www.capemaywhalewatcher.com to get a price break that was not available at the marina. The 1 PM whale watching cruise was an enjoyable experience for us in every way.

The Captain and crew were polite, informative, down to earth and couldn't do enough to make sure we got our money's worth. We could tell the Captain takes pride in his boat because it was CLEAN and WELL MAINTAINED. I've been on tours before and this one was by far the best! We saw dozens of dolphin some of which were riding the boats wake and jumping out of the water!! They came right up to the boat. Everyone was excited to see such beautiful creatures in their natural habitat. I was impressed by how many times they turned the boat to make certain everyone saw the point of interest, usually dolphin. I'm certain all aboard had a great time because they were all smiling from ear to ear during the tour. This picky person highly recommends the Cape May Whale Watcher tour!
