My mom, sister, and I took our kids (all 7 of them) on the Dolphin and Whale watching trip through Cape May Whale Watcher and had the best day of our vacation. The crew was very professional and was available to answer any questions the kids had (and there were plenty). The boat was clean with a great set up. We had the choice of being in the shade on the lower deck or the sun of the upper deck. The complimentary drinks and pastries were a plus also. We saw endless amounts of dolphins in groups playing. The guide was great about making announcements telling everyone where to look. Lots of mommies with their babies also. The kids were all in awe over everything. It was a great trip around the cape may peninsula and a great history lesson. Thank you Cape May Whale Watcher for a wonderful day that we won't forget.

I purchased a deal (basically a buy one get one free price) that was offered for the Cape May Whale Watch on groupon thinking that I was going to get a great deal. I noticed on the website that children 6 and under were free so we only purchased 1 groupon for the 2 of us to use. Upon arriving to the Cape May Whale Watcher to get our tickets, I was informed that children are not free when you use a deal like groupon. We had to pay $50 for our to children ages 6 and 3, which is the regular price for ages 7-12). All in all we had to pay MORE than we would have if we never used the groupon deal. Last year we used the Cape May Whale Watch and Research and we did not have to pay extra for kids. We did see quite a few dolphins (no whales which is what I expected) for a few minutes, which is why I didn't rate this as terrible. I also wasn't a fan of the layout for the upper deck compared to the other company. When you sit on the ledge around the side and it is crowded you can't turn to see the water! You have to wait until people start getting up to walk around, move to other locations to be able to turn around to see the water. The staff was less than stellar. I watched one of the crew members chew on a 5 hour energy bottle while playing on his phone for at least 10 minutes. One last thing, tour was to start at 1:00. We didn't pull out until 1:20. We were told to arrive by 12:30. You would think that if we're told to arrive a half an hour early that we would actually disembark on time. I'll never be returning to this company again.

So with this Dolphin cruise that my boyfriend and I went on (we did the 6pm 2 hour cruise). You get a garuntee that you see Dolphins, which we did. And you get free Pizza and Hotdogs (amazing). Also the beer selection is decent, they have Cape May Brewery, and only 4 bucks. Deal. Saw lots of Dolphins for about the first hour, even a baby one! The tour guide says that's rare though. Very informative tour, worth it cause even thought you can see the Dolphins from the beach this is so much closer!
