My family and I have done probably every whale/dolphin watch in South Jersey from Atlantic City to Cape May. Our favorite is Cape May Whale Watcher. Captain Jim and his crew are friendly and knowledgeable of Cape May and give a great tour around the island. We may not always find whales but many dolphins along the way. See dolphins, whales, egret, Osprey, Enjoy seeing the ...Coast Guard Base, shoreline, lighthouse and more. We go back a couple times a year just for the best relaxation possible.... Perfect for everyone young and old...couples great for families. Everyone should have this on their must do list!

I knew we would likely not see any whales, and I thought the dolphins would be a long shot. Not even close!!! The whales were not coming out to play but the dophins were more than happy to be on a people watching tour. We saw multiple pods of dolphins all coming up to breathe and then diving for food. They would move from one side of the boat to the other as if to taunt the captain. The boat wasn't crowded so seeing them was easy. As well, the captain kept the boat still while the dolphins played around us. Then to top it off, when we decided to go further out to sea (looking for whales) the dolphins gave a finale performance behind the boat surfing the wake and jumping out of the water following us as if to say "See you later and come visit us again". There was food and drink on board and the service was good. The captain gave the history of our surroundings and was very knowledgeable about the aquatic life as well as the local nesting birds etc. They also are very adament that this is the way to see these animals - in their natural habitat, not surrounded by the walls of a tank. This tour was one we'll remember. One suggestion, take plenty of sunscreen and slather it on! The breeze blowing whilst up on deck gives the illusion of no burn!

Had a problem with a deal from a discount site for a whale & dolphin watching trip scheduled for 6/2/13. I spoke with Jeff, who was very gracious & worked with me to resolve the problem. Our family trip went off without a hitch. Thank!
