Saw plenty of dolphins but no whales. Reason was, so much time was used to get to where the dolphins were, then we spent so much time with the dolphins that there wasn't enough time to bring the ship out far enough to see whales. Yes, the dolphins were beautiful and there were many of them but dolphins can be spotted from the beach or any boat - I wanted to see whales. We went to a spot where a whale was spotted the day before but that doesn't mean it would still be there and it wasn't. We needed to go further out in the ocean. If you want a real whale whatch cruise, go further north. I saw three gray whales when I went on a trip out of Boston and the boat was far more comfortable.

We vacation in Cape May every year and our trip wouldn't be complete without a trip on Cape May Whale Watcher. We have tried them all on the Cape (and some in AC) and no tour is as great as the Big Red Boat. We love the trip and it is worth every penny. We always see lots of dolphins and the Stewart family is so warm and welcoming! Don't miss it

We went on the 3 hour whale watching tour and didn't see a single whale. We saw a few dolphins pop up from the water three or four times and that was it. It was very disappointing. Furthermore, the boat we were on had hard molded, plastic fixed seating. It was SO uncomfortable to sit on those for 3 hours in rough water. The brochure actually shows a boat with chaise lounges for seating. That wasn't on our boat. The tour guide/caption repeated the same lame jokes about the dolphins having sushi for lunch about 10 times. He did the same thing when talking about the dolphins' sex habits and gestation period. It was pretty weird. I would not recommend this place.
