This is the third dolphin and whale watch trip I've taken and it didn't disappoint. The weather that day was gorgeous and being on the water for three hours was an absolutely pleasure. Captain Jeff is extremely knowledgeable about both the history of Cape May as well as the best spots to view the dolphins and perhaps a whale. Unfortunately, we didn't find any whales this trip, but as in the past, the dolphins did gave us quite a display! It is such a thrill to see them and watch them as they jump and dive through the water. Everyone seems to enjoy this trip and I would highly recommend the three hour "cruise." It is relaxing and if you sit outside, you get a splendid three hours of sunshine and fresh air! it's a GREAT way to spend an afternoon. We always go into town to Washington Square after these trips, to look through the shops and then have a great meal at one of Cape May's numerous restaurants. It's a perfect way to spend an early September day!

We had a beautiful day out in the Atlantic Ocean. This is a family owned business. The Captain and crew were all extremely nice and provided interesting facts as well as pointed out the dolphins along our 3 hour whale and dolphin trip. Sadly we did not see any whales this time out but saw about 35 dolphins. I called for a reservation in advance though probably did not need one as this is a slower tourist season in Cape May. There is outdoor and indoor seating. If seating outside, don't forget to bring your sunblock. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase on this boat and binoculars are available for a nominal rental fee. My husband and I were fine without them. A discount coupon was given on the ship for souvenirs at the gift shop and for a future ride. I would highly recommend this experience.

Booked the tour 2 months ago, and finally did the tour this weekend. Was worth the wait. The 6 hour tour we saw the lights of the bay and Cape May lighthouse, a whale, and dolphins. And the continental breakfast and lunch buffet were good. Along with the great weather made a great day. Some things to keep in mind doing this tour. The time to go from Ship John Shoal light to 14 Foot Bank light is around an hour. This is when lunch is served which helps the time go. And the lines are long for both meals, so be patient. But the food is plentiful, with fruit, bagels, donuts for breakfast, and more fruit, potato salad, coleslaw, shrimp, sandwiches, and chicken for lunch. Then cake near the end of the trip. Drinks must be purchased, but can be brought on board as long as not in glass containers. Unsure if this includes beer, may want to check on that before trying to bring on board. If you enjoy seeing lighthouses, along with a chance to see a whale and dolphins, then this is the tour for you.
