I know every trip is unique, not all will see the same thing, but this is the best video of whale I got and was able to screen shot the breach for most awesome pics!!! They were great about everything - small company small boat - BIG savings and GREAT experience!

We went whale watching in late January, booked through Norwegian Cruise Lines. Our captain was Ryan accompanied by Austin. They were knowledgeable and great at spotting whales and then trying to get as close as allowable. We were in a Zodiac boat so it was close to the water. We saw many whales breach from a distance, tail slap and spotted mother and calf with escort. We even had one approach our boat and roll on its back. On our way back to the dock we came across a new mother that we first thought was “logging” but it turned out she had a newborn that she raised several times to breathe. We watched for several minutes and then she dove straight down and did a thing called tail-sailing. We had to return and she remained vertical upside down with her tail out of the water until she was out of sight. It was amazing.
