Balboa Pier

This pier provides excellent sightings of the beautiful coastal line along with the crashing waves into the white sandy beaches.

Balboa Fun Zone

Here families and children can enjoy a ride on the Ferris Wheel or test their luck out in the arcade. Three other rides (swings) or available to smaller children as well.

Protected reserve birds from the area offer some unique viewing opportunities in the waters offshore along with good habitat for whales and dolphin.

Sunset Beach

One of the most northern beaches we see on our whale watches from Newport Beach.

Huntington State Beach

Long stretch of beautiful white sand beach we cruise just offshore looking for whales and dolphin that travel the area.

Marina Park

Great park can visit before of after taking a whale watching cruise from Balboa. Long walk or short bike ride too.

Little Corona Beach

Close to where we exit Newport Bay we often pass in close proximity.

Pelican Hill Golf Club

We had an excellent tour. The staff was so friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They took us right to a huge pod of dolphins. We circled round and round so we could enjoy them for a very long time. Unfortunately we didn’t see any whales, but that did not spoil our trip. There was a comfortable spot for everyone. Our parents sat inside the comfortable cabin and were able to see the dolphins out the window. Our teenage kids were able to hang out at the rail for an up close and personal experience. I highly recommend this tour.

Over 1000 dolphins, they we amazing! Great cruise Nice boat and crew Everything was just great at 27 people, any more would have been too much

Boat ride was very scenic. We did not see any whales but captain and crew very knowledgeable and courteous. I would give it 5 but didn't see whales.
