We had a wonderful time! The naturalists and crew were fantastic! We saw a pod of orcas and spent the majority of our time watching this group. One curious whale even swam up to and under the boat! It was an amazing experience! We also saw some harbor seals napping and a bald eagle. The captain did a really good job of keeping us apprised of what what happening and what we were looking at. The bathrooms are fully functional and there is a fully stocked snack bar! After we saw the orcas, the naturalists went around and showed some pictures and shared more information and stories about the pod. Really a great experience and would definitely recommend or go again!

A group of 17 of us charted the M/V Sea Lion for a whale watch. We had a great time. The guide, Abi, and captain were both knowledgeable, eager to answer questions, and spotted wildlife for us. We watched a pod of 4 transient orcas. This was a great experience. We had plenty of room to move around on the boat. There is an indoor area if anyone gets cold. There are steps down to the toilet. This was well worth the extra cost of a charter vs buying tickets on a public tour.
