We enjoyed our whale watching adventure on San Juan Safaris! My 83 year old mother, my sister, my husband and I went and found the adventure most enjoyable! The staff onboard was helpful and knowledgeable - it was fun to find out names and see the differences in their spot used for identification of the various whales. We saw numerous whales, some close, some farther away, and once they were fairly close on both sides of the boat. We only saw 1 eagle but saw more in Alaska. We highly recommended San Juan Safaris and also a trip to Friday Harbor!

I am not necessarily a boating or whale enthusiast and didn't know quite what to expect, but this was really a wonderful experience. The naturalists were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly, and definitely customer oriented. The company practices environmentally friendly practices and tours in a way that is safer for the whales. We saw many orcas and had a great time.
