I highly recommend San Juan Safaris for whale/nature watching in the San Juan Islands! I really enjoyed my Sunday afternoon trip! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and positive. Bonus: they have blankets and binoculars on board that you can use! Note: I almost took the 5:30 evening trip before I realized I wouldn't get back to Anacortes until midnight. Just something to consider if you're not staying on the island.

From the moment I called my experience with San Juan Safaris was EXCELLENT! Helpful staff and a GREAT tour. We caught up with a transient group of whales and the boat staff was interactive and full of fun facts! Overall a great time and my next trip to the area I will make sure I have the time to go and spend a day on the water with San Juan Safaris!

Kudos to Pat, who helped us put together our Kenmore sea plane reservations and San Juan Safaris whale watching tour. She was terrific. There were quite a few details to work out, and she handled everything so well. We appreciated her knowledge and experience. The sea plane directions and schedules went off without a hitch. The whale watching tour was wonderful: the boat captain and naturalists were attentive, enthusiastic, professional, and well-informed. The scenery was spectacular, and we spotted so many whales. Great experience all-around.
