I was a bit skeptical that we would see whales on our trip as it is later in the season. They got a call of reported Orcas from the direction we had just left. Once we turned around to head that way, they even stopped by the seal lions, wow, they were massive and glad they took the time for that even as we were headed to see the Orcas. It was a great experience to watch and listen to Lauren give us information on the families.

Nice wildlife tour of the Pacific Northwest!. The San Juan Islands are beautiful. Just the ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor is worth the trip. Orcas move a lot and the area is huge. Going on a fast boat gives you a better chance of finding and watching them. I suggest small fast boats with less people, but as always, it is a little more expensive.
