I would highly recommend this company. We were having a hard time locating any wildlife for about an hour and a half and the captain did everything he could to find the Orcas. If you go whale watching, book with this company.

Captain Mike and naturalist Heather were great. They got word of whale citings an hour north of Friday Harbor so we headed that way. We saw two large male orcas and another pod of seven orcas. There was even a baby calf! The crew took us to see stellar sea lions, as well. Great day and great experience!!

At the last minute I decided to try to go on a whale watching tour, I got lucky and found an opening with San Juan Safaris. We saw 5 killer whales making a kill and feeding on what the naturalist believed was a Minke Whale. There was one calf and 4 adults and the adults appeared to be teaching the youngster how to make a kill. They stayed in a small area for about 2 hours. This is something I will remember for the rest of my life.
