We had a wonderful and educational exploration with numerous animal sightings including eagles, harbor seals, and of course the Orcas. Enjoyed the naturalist on board to explain about the whales and and answer questions about anything we could think of. Also since the weather was good we were able to see many of the surrounding islands and mountains. I would certainly do the trip again with other visitors or on my own

I was truly blessed to have been on a boat on July 5th with San Juan Safari. The crew was incredibly amazing! They knew the orcas by name and pod. We saw over 70 whales that day! BEWARE - THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL DAY YOU CAN EXPECT! But what an incredible team that led us right into the middle of the Sound where we watched over 25 breeches, the orcas playing on their backs, hugging, holding hands, and pop-ups. The 3 pods (J, K, and L) all met and greeted each other while our boat was held captivated by all 3 pods surrounding the boat while they played and played and played. It was amazing and the crew stayed out longer than they should have so we could enjoy the phenomenon.

We had a very large group for a whale watching tour. They were very accommodating from the start and the tour was amazing. Our guide was clearly passionate about whales and it was contagious! All of us were excited to see the Orcas, and our guide could answer all of our questions. It was way more informative than I imagined it would be. A real education. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the tour. They are organized, efficient and have wonderful guides. It was a highlight of our trip to the San Juan Islands.
