My wife and I brought our teenage son and daughter for a whale watching trip with Cape Ann Whale Watch while visiting Gloucester. We had been on the same trip twenty years prior and had a truly wonderful time. We were very excited to share the experience with our kids and we hoped that it would live up to our expectations. We were certainly not disappointed! The ride out was smooth and the captain, crew, and science researchers/educators did an excellent job making all the passengers comfortable and happy. We came across four humpback whales and had incredible views with plenty of opportunities to take videos and pictures. The captain made sure to position the boat so both sides had access and was careful not to disturb the whales. We were within about a hundred feet of them at times and the science crew was able to identify some of them based on their markings and give us a brief history. The whole experience was absolutely spectacular and we can’t wait to come back again!

This whale watching tour far exceeded my expectations!! In fact, not just for me but our whole family - 13 of us. And the info/narrative from the guide was wonderful!
