The company went out of its way to make sure passengers saw whales by extending the trip. In the end we got to experience a mother whale and her cub swimming for almost one hour. Their marine biology students on board were also wonderful and passionate about their work and provided troves of information.

Standing joke in our family is nothing usually goes the way we planned because our name is MARSHALL… That being said we had great weather and yes we were sure we would not see any whales. Well it appears our luck had changed and we in fact saw whales. We obtained great pictures and great memories. Needless to say we were able to check one more thing off our Bucket list. The crew was great and I would definitely recommend whale watching aboard Cape Ann.

If you like adventure, boating, outdoors, animals, etc. this is for you An enjoyable trip, cost effective (and valuable), an educational outing, relaxing, and something most don't see every day. Not only are you guaranteed a sighting, but Cape Ann Whale Watch does not induce whales with bait or captivity. This is 100% natural, wild animals, and there is NOTHING like it in the world. This specific coast line & trip are custom for such a sighting. I recommend anyone, couples, families, even small children. I was amazed by the plethora of knowledge from our naturalist (Jamie), and there is no comparison to seeing a whale up close, in its habitat like this....not captive....awe inspiring.
