The staff was amazing, the facilities appropriate for the vessel, and all in all a fun time. Note: Bring a coat, temps offshore are significantly lower than on land. Sunscreen, the sun can be a lot reflecting off the water. If you have children, bring extra clothes in case of seasickness (as we witnessed one poor kiddo need a complete change) or other childhood adventures. You can bring snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) but there is a galley/bar on board with a very friendly gent - this has both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as snacks (nachos, pretzels, chicken nuggets, chips, candy, etc.) We had a great time and do plan to return. We did see a few whales and I felt the staff offered an adequate opportunity for both sides of the boat to see the whales without harassing the animals so the experience was enjoyable.
