Best time ever. The crew was knowledgeable, they even had a naturalist on board! Saw 3 different whales. And they seemed to be curious about us voting up to the boat and traveling from side to side under the boat. We were told this is called mugging and itā€™s something they havenā€™t seen the whales doin years. Fantastic experience of a life time. Definitely recommend. Canā€™t wait to go again.

In our travels, we have often taken boat trips to see the local animals and the sea coasts. This was by far the best. We saw several whales, in pairs or alone. Unlike some trips, where the animals were attracted by food thrown in these whales were much more natural. The excellent guide told us to watch for green patches in the area a whale had been seen as that was where they would resurface. She also described how they identify the whales - by names - that frequent the area the boat operated in.

I went with my 2 kids, 6 and 8 years old. Although they got seasick once the boat stopped so we could look at the whales, we all had so much fun!
