From booking to exiting the boat, our experience could not have been better. Staff was friendly and extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We observed elderly patrons being carefully looked after while getting on and off the vessel. The captain turned the boat so that all sides could view each pair of whales we encountered. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

Smooth Sailing! It was an amazing trip. We saw three different whales and got to spend time with each one observing and learning via a running commentary of which whales we saw and even got some history. Such beautiful memories were made. Lost to do off the boat in the area. Recommend The Italian bakery and Sub shop Bread of Fisherman, Virgillos for a food stop. I'll be going on this whale watch again.

We went to Jeffry's Ledge, leaving out of Gloucester. It was a fine day, which made for a very enjoyable trip. The Captain of the Hurricane II was able to bring us right up to the Humpback Whales, from the rail we were no more than 25' away. One of the mates kept up a very enjoyable description of the whales and their natural history; she was easy to listen to. I think a few of the whales are very comfortable with this boat, which is why they let it come up so near - maybe they are even 'simpatico' with the mate, whose enrapture with these creatures was palpable.
