We have friends that once told us we should go on a whale watch, as they had. Then, for Christmas, our son and family gave us a "watch" for a Christmas present. We were blessed with being on a sturdy vessel with both other couples and families from many places. Once we cruised a few miles out, we started seeing sea creatures, and were amazed to see a baby whale atop its Mom, as well as having it swim right alongside our boat!! Also, the staff aboard our upper deck were excited to tell us what they knew about the whales in the area and their travels.

Our family had a wonderful time! The staff was friendly and helpful, and they also provided great info about whales and their habitat. We saw 5 whales, one breached several times and another waved his flippers. It was fantastic! My only suggestion would be to get there early. We arrived about a half hour early and people were already lining up to board the boat,
