The parkng staff assists you in getting a space. There are parking spaces for those with a disabled placard or license plates. The lines move fast and they offer boarding help for the disabled. It is not a long walk to the boat. The ticket offics also serves as a nice gift shop. You can shop before or after the trip. I went on a cloudy, drizzly chilly day and it was still ok to sit outside and see these whales. The educational staff came to my 5 year old grandson and he loved it. The staff gave good education of what to expect and features of the whales we were about to see. The boat was clean with adequate seating. The whales didn't jump out of the water (breach), but we had plenty of sightings and interactions. They have named these whales and explain a little about the history of where we are and why they do this. I was not on a very crowded boat so people didn't get in the way of each other trying to photograph and let their children see the whales. All in all a good experience. You will not be disappointed.

While I understand operating a boat can be costly, there were too many people for this trip to be enjoyable. There wasnā€™t enough seating to accommodate the amount of people on board. The crowed boat made it hard to be able to see any whales as people would run from one side to the next not allowing others to admire the whales. Itā€™s unfortunate really it was a beautiful day, I was excited for this trip but it wasnā€™t as I expected.

We went on a tour 7/23, and it was absolutely amazing. We had seats along one of the sides, but either side would have been perfect- there were a few whales that repeatedly breached the water on both sides of the boat. There were also college interns onboard, and they circulated multiple times providing information and answering questions. The day was perfect, and everything that I hoped it would be!
