We are two couples, sixtysomethings, who had been on whale watches before and had also been disappointed by the lack of... whales. Our Cape Ann experience, by contrast, was exhilarating. On our voyage to our appointed spot, the crew was so friendly and knowledgeable, and shared many interesting bits of information about whales. And when we arrived at our rendezvous with these incredibly beautiful mammals, it was like watching a mystical form of natural theater playing out just yards from our ship. Early on, people were shouting and laughing with excitement as we made our first sightings. Eventually, we spoke in hushed voices, or were in total silence observing these magnificent creatures. The weather was most cooperative, so visibility was excellent, only a slight roll of the ocean to rock us gently, and the warmth of the sun was quite bearable. We took lots of video and gladly because we couldn't quite believe our eyes.

Dear theodorr2013, Thank you for taking time out of your day to review our company, we appreciate your kind words. Aren't the whales truly magical? We hope you are able to join us again soon. Kind regards, Capt. Jim Douglass Owner

We had choppy seas but it was still a smooth ride out to see that whales. The captain and crew were top notch and did everything they could to make sure that both sides of the boat got to see the whales. You can move from side to side as they near a whale but it's not necessary because the next whale might be right in front of where you were standing a few minutes ago. There were several crew members walking around with information on where we were headed and what we might be seeing. Well worth the money and time. Be sure to bring some cash so that you can tip as you leave.

Overall good whale watching tour. There were 4 of us and one 5 year old. Unfortunately the weather was gloomy but we were able to see 7 Humpback whales on this trip. It was a bit hard to see them due to everyone crowding to one side, especially if you have small children. The crew was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information during the trip. Everyone was helpful and nice EXCEPT for Steve who was working the food service area. He was extremely rude! When you were not fast enough deciding your order he would push you aside and take the person behind you. He just threw the food up on the counter, never letting anyone know who it belonged too. One Man ordered two hot dogs and his children decided they didnā€™t want them. He very kindly told Steve ā€œ We no longer want them, Iā€™m happy to pay for them Iā€™m so sorryā€. Steve threw up his hands in disgust and threw them in the trash as he yelled. As someone who has worked in customer service, I would not put an employee like Steve to service the public. He portrays a bad image of your company.
