Poor guide who gave no historical info on lighthouses or points of interest on the way out. Captain was in 500 ft of water which is not optimal for whale watching. No announcement while boat was at rest that we were turning back and for those with limited mobility to take their seats. I have been on 5 previous whale watches that had much more sightings and much better naturalists

What a great experience, from start to finish. Free and easy carpark, quick check in and helpful staff. The boat is roomy with plenty of opportunity to move around and find a good viewing point. We saw hump back whales and a fabulous pod of dolphins, all within close quarters. The captain did a great job of positioning the boat so everyone had chance to see. The staff on the boat were superb with a real wealth of knowledge and clear commentary. First class trip, very happy!

We go on a whale watch every year. Usually Cape Ann Whale Watch. We always see whales. Sometimes dolphins (we did this trip) which is so much fun to watch them bounding around. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that compared to other trips we didn't see as many whales and the ones we saw only occasionally breached. It was very good, just not the best one we have been on. The crew was excellent as always, The discussions of the. whales was interesting. We always learn something new. We will continue to go on Hurricane 2. We highly recommend it. Hopefully, we will see more whales next time.
