Per the instructions from the naturalist, leave your expectations at the dock so that whatever you experience is more that you expected. I was hopeful to see something amazing but nothing specific and boy did I! It was a gift from God that we got to see the humpback whales in their nature and before leaving we got to witness the calf breaching which only happens 10% of their visits. Such a mystical and beautiful experience that I highly recommend you going with Cape Ann Whale Watching. Parking was not an issue which is one of the reasons I chose to go with Cape Ann instead of another place near by.

My mother and I traveled from Salem Massachusetts to see this tour in Gloucester. It was an easy trip and definitely worthwhile. We had a really special experience, I think, because we got to see the white sided dolphins! But we also had some incredible experiences seeing two whales moving about over the course of the trip. Our excursion felt personal, even on a boat full of people. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable, and it was clear she really cared about whales, conservation, and education. Seeing whales has been a bucket list item for me and I am so grateful to this organization for its contributions towards the care of these animals and taking me out to see them today. This is a must if you’re anywhere near here. Highly recommend.

The experience blew the already high expectations I had out of the water literally. We saw 6 humpback whales and a super pod of over 200 dolphins. Was an experience to remember
