Our family has made Cape Ann Whale Watch our annual tradition. The crew is extremely knowledgeable about the majestic beasts. They teach visitors about characteristics, feeding habits, and their return from the Caribbean with their calves. The boat had two levels and people rush to get on first to get premium seats, but the minute there is a sighting everyone is up and going from one side of the boat to the next! The only thing that could use improvement was the disposition of the guy doing concessions, he was a bit condescending. Beyond that, it was and always is awesome!!

The experience was very informative and magical. We learned a lot about whales. Everyone was friendly. My daughter discovered she had sea sickness but the boat staff took care of her and gave her ginger candy to chew on. We'll never forget our collective experience observing those divine whales together in their element.

loved the knowledge of the speaker, and the up close views of the whales and dolphins. did not love that there were more people than seats and people would run from one side to the other even though the boat/whales move and could see from either side. imo there should've been about half the amount of people aboard
