My favorite was the knowledge the crew had on the whales and the city. Was a smooth sail and have food and drinks on the boat. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing experience! The ladies on board are scientists so they know what to look for and have great facts and knowledge about the whales. we were able to get right next to the whales where we felt we could touch them! I recommend sitting at the front of the boat and and standing as close to the top as you can do you donā€™t have to walk back and forth from side to side when a whale is spotted. I donā€™t recommend anyone who is unstable with their feet to stand toward the front as it is very hard to remain stable with the waves even with good balance. Dress for weather as itā€™s about 20 degrees cooler on the water. The boat is cash only for snacks, food, and cocktails. They sell motion sickness tablets at check in, if you are not sure if you should get them, get them anyway as it can be easily nauseating. I donā€™t tend to get nauseous but had some uneasiness by the end of the trip. The Gloucester House is right down the road with great food and I recommend also checking out the Castle that youā€™ll see when you leave and come back in to port.

This was truly a wonderful experience! I had never done anything like this and the crew was very nice and super knowledgeable! If I ever get the chance to go back to Massachusetts I will definitely be going back to Cape Ann Whale Watch!
